The Outsiders: Featuring Content from My Favorite Sports Blogs Every Monday

Before I get started, I want to let you all in on an update to The Outsiders category. I'm still perfecting it, but this is going to be a weekly post that comes out on Monday evenings, hopefully around 7:30-8:00 PM ET; obviously I'm a bit late this time around, but what can I say? Life gets in the way (and that's not a bad thing). I'm using this category as a way to motivate myself to make a post every week, and encourage other sports bloggers to do the same. By highlighting articles from other blogs, it forces me to educate myself on the cool things that other people are doing and can help me improve my own blog down the road. Those getting featured are also getting a free link to their article as a token of my respect and appreciation for their enthusiasm to share their thoughts about sports (and more).

On that note, let's talk about the one and only blog that submitted this week: Dapper Sports. These guys are always on top of their game, they're always providing great content, and their dedication has paid off in page views over the last couple weeks.

Their blog categories describe them perfectly: Fantasy, Sports, Fashion, and Lifestyle. The "Dapper" half of their brand covers Fashion and Lifestyle (and sometimes Fantasy). They've provided Bachelor fans with cheat sheets to help out in the fantasy league that goes along with the show. Take a look at their "Bachelor Fantasy League Week 6 Cheat Sheet" for a closer look at what that's all about.

The "Sports" half of their brand covers Fantasy and, well, Sports. Because of recent success, Dapper Sports has been focusing on The Bachelor. However, they did create a fun little bingo game to be played during the Superbowl. When they're not writing about sports, they are very active on Twitter when the games are on. So, be sure to follow @dapper_sports on Twitter, and you can find them on Facebook as well.

If you'd like to be featured in next Monday's edition of The Outsiders, submit your article here for consideration! You can also DM us on Twitter @AbstractSports, or message us on Facebook. I look forward to reading your submissions!
